Date of Launch

Jan 2007

The Classic Shooter Creator, also commonly known as Shooter, or Classic Shooter, is the first game creator added to Sploder, and was the only creator for the 1st two years of Sploder. The Classic Shooter Creator's gameplay is usually oriented around action, puzzles, and (to a lesser extent) exploration. However, there is not many information to give.

Trivia[]

  • The Shooter is the game creator that many of the older members prefer, specifically the Editors, because so many challenging and puzzle-filled games have been made with it.
    • This might be because the Classic Shooter Creator was the only game creator on Sploder at these times (2007-2008).
  • The Shooter is the only game creator on Sploder that is written with ActionScript 2. The modern version of ActionScript is 3.0. Because of this, Geoff can't update the shooter because it runs on outdated code. He would have to re-write it if he wanted it to be updated.
  • The first shooter game was called "Crystal Chamber" that made by Geoff on January 2nd, 2007 (It's also the very first Sploder game and it was only game that was made in that day).

The Guard's health is about two times stronger than the Cruiser and two times weaker than the Heavy Cruiser. It's a great emeny to place if you want to make sure the player feels like they are being surounded by emeny ships even though Speeders are the best for that job since they actually follow the player if he/she tries to run away.
